Synesso ES1 Home Espresso Machine

The ES1 is a revolutionary espresso machine, bringing the reliability, capability and robustness of a commercial machine usually found in a cafe into the home. Made Cascade refined the visual aesthetic design, and conducted the full process of mechanical design and did all of the system prototyping.

In addition to aesthetic and mechanical design and prototyping, this project came with the added requirement to reduce production time as much as possible as compared to the predecessor machine. The finished product proved to be far easier to manufacture and assemble, resulting in a 60% time savings for production time for the client.
